Public night norwich - 2nd Feb 08

We raised money for ourselves this night but we also raised £240.50 for a local cause in Norwich as well and the cause has thanked everyone for helping with their cause, the public and Npeg members.

TOILETS

GROUP A

Men’s Toilets

As soon as we came in, the emf readings in front of cubicle 1.5mg, lasted a good 5 mins; rising slightly higher and then disappeared. As soon as emf meter went, everyone got a cold blast, nothing electrical nearby. 21:15 As we walked in we were immediately struck by the colder temperature and I had a headache over my eyes and gradually felt sick to the point of actually thinking I would be sick. We called out and walked around the area swapping where we stood periodically. The window in here was wide open hence the temperature. Nothing on the Dictaphone, emf was also on throughout and we measured 1.5 along the external wall. Possible 2 flashing green white lights near wall approx 2m high and a later another. Lisa later commented on a headache also, everyone felt this area was not the same as the ladies.

Tracy’s comments: lights have been seen in here before and cold spots felt.

Ladies Toilets

Scrying: asking out and heard click noise, when asked to make noise, heard big clunking noise like after someone has flushed chain, coming from we thing, disabled toilet but checked and noone was in there. Just asked Louise and she turned a tap on, so think it was that what made the clunking noise. 2 people got tingly heads and one lower back pain in lower spine. Part of Group A in Ladies toilets Ben Vicky and Lisa, Scrying. Everyone took turns but found it very hard to get any results and eventually Lisa managed to get the only result, which was that her throat became wider and she saw a fuzzy light around the top of her head. As the others could not get anything we tried asking out but all felt there was nothing, we had no phenomena and felt comfortable. I felt a slight cool draft in the corner, which I located to a crack in the wall.

GROUP B

Ladies Toilets

Dowsing: Adult, Female, 4 daughters and 1 son, had brothers and sisters, lived with them, lived here, like it here, Daniel A, Died here in 1705 and buried here (Alison).

GROUP C

Pam/Joanne/Phil-Scrying in male toilets 22:15pm

Joanne looking at Pam, looked very old, Skin around eyes dragging down, ghoulish look to the face, face went blank with no features at all. Pam looking at Joanne, male face changing constantly from young to old and back, hair became receding, ecame "Blackman", face went black with no features at all. Phil looking at Joanne became an old man, disfigured on right hand side around eye and cheek. Joanne looking at Phil had a moustache, nose became pointed, and face went blank with no features at all. Female buried here, died at age of 66, married, 2 daughters, died in 18th century, 1715, first name Lizzie (short for Elizabeth), surname Mason. Use to worship here, lived locally, husband murdered at age of 29, murdered during a fight, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, the murderer not caught, children were young when he died, he is angry at the way he died and that the murderer was never caught, she would stay with them the rest of the night but the husband would not.

Tracy’s comments: Scrying, this is quite interesting, as the disfigured face has been seen before on different occasions but not every time.

GROUP D

Louise sat on the bottom step in Ladies and we asked out. I had my hair played with and pulled upwards, quite a large amount was dislodged as my hairclip moved loose, but other than that nothing much was happening in either, then moved to the regression room.

Chosen activity (12.45am)

When first came in here, tapping noises came from cubicles, 3 getting louder, one person felt sick for a moment then later someone else felt dizzy.

Tracy’s comments, tapping noises have been heard from the cubicles on several other investigations and sickness and dizziness has previously been felt.

Back Room- Ouija board

Group A:Some personal stuff but Brian and Fran came through.

Group B:Some personal stuff but Brian also talked.

Group C:Some personal stuff but Brian also talked. Cold breezes were felt on people’s legs.

Group D:Some personal stuff but Brian and Fran came through.

Main area

GROUP A: Ben sat up in the haunted O3 seat, felt cold breezes, but was not sure where they came from. Slight coldness in the whole auditorium, slight noises in front of Tracy M, on the wooden bench, left side as looking at the stage. Taps heard in the middle area, loud noise by fire exit, went freezing, Tracy saw a flashing light, blue. Cold breezes on face. We heard shuffling on the stage, later found out it was human, so the loud noise by the fire exit was probably human, i did ask out if it was human but got no response, but Darren later confirmed it was.

GROUP B: Wendy had her hair pulled at 9.35pm. Alison’s camera would not work all of the time in here. Alison could smell an earthy smell. At 9.47pm Alison had her hair pulled. Alison also felt a breath blow on her right eye and heard a gasp then the smell of rose water. A seat sprang up at the back of the room and no one was there. Dowsing rods: adult male, happy to speak, aged 24, BRIAN, bike, Fran is here, still drinking, spoke about Fran, doing rounds, winding up people, remembered Dave from last year, Arnie caught his eye and some other private stuff.

GROUP C: Deborah felt like there was someone next to her, hot face, name of Edward. The rest of the group got cold.

Flashing light seen on stage, Pam smelt burning wood, name of Francis picked up by Dawn, footsteps heard on stage by the group. Margaret got 17th century lady and vicar, says remembered congregated ground, black frock, coat, not poor, from Norwich. Wendy had her hair pulled; Wendy saw a flashing light. A chair sprung, then a smell at Alison, female smell.

GROUP D:

Kelly thought she saw a shape of someone to the left of the stage, when someone called out. After Sian asked for spirit to do something to her, she felt cold down my right hand side.

Choose activity

Several sensed the stage as having something on it, others chose to sit at the back, I advised we would do dowsing and asked if someone would like to try. Wendy was volunteered and began and got, male, aged 24, Brian, came over from the séance, Fran was with him, he was having a good night.

Tracy’s comments: most of the activity in this room has been witnessed before, such as flashing lights, earthy smells, cold breezes etc. It is interesting that a chair sprang up in two separate groups. Just for clarifying, Brian is a spirit that visited Fran and i when we use to do ghosthunts here a few years ago (before Npeg) and since Fran sadly has died and decided she would make an appearance alongside Brian, double trouble!!!! But i am not sure that the age gained on this night for Brian is the correct age.

Lower base room

GROUP A:

Tracy M split the group into two, with Vicky P, Lisa, Ben in the upper part and Vicky, Carly, Samantha, Melanie and Lisa in the lower area. We done the experiment as below in a summary, Female, Louise aged 37, already made self-known by light. Elizabeth, aged 84, 6 spirits here, will make self know. Male Adult, worked here, visits here, aged 30-40. Maybe a child, lived here, visit here, Laura aged 18. Female, initials B, aged 32, visit here, 3 spirits here. Female child, Bella aged 18, visit here, 2 spirits here. Female, Rose aged 24, occasionally visit here. Cold breeze with female, Actress, Sandra aged 25, quiet lady, friendly, 8-10 spirits here.

When the groups were split up, the lower group kept hearing noises from the corner near the entrance door, while the group upstairs were seeing lights, across the table and looking towards the main area. We all went to the upper floor and lights were seen across the table.

GROUP B: lower: experiment: Mary Jones, 30 when died, 3 children and 4 spirits there.

Upper: John Brown. Kelly got a burning sensation on the top of her head. Marie felt great sorrow in here, a loss, wants to cry. Kelly saw a flash of white light in one sky light, havent seen it any more, so dont think it was car lights. Marie thought there was a pile of wood to her left as she walked on steps to octagon room but on the way down, there was nothing there. Someone got the impression of children, name of Mary, was governess. Margaret got, lady in theatre, lived in Norwich, mid 1700’s, large house not far from here, she attend the house, servants, help the poor once a week, when i earn i give money to the poor house. Aged 27, 2 children that are boys 7 and 9 years, name of Mary, go to concerts in Norwich, take tea with the ladies. Marie, i recognized this room immediately, I’ve seen it in my dreams. As if looked out the window, i dreamt it was a prison, i now see the brass on the windows across the courtyard. I was attracted to this particular room as soon as i saw it. I feel that i have lived here in a previous life, a feeling of knowing this place. Alison got, Adult name George, had 12 sons, scared here, died here, 1869, worked here, lived here with husband, Joe, aged 29, was killed, not vicar. Wendy got, Adult, belonged to church, aged 26 years and 41 days old, curate to the priest, 1709, not married.

GROUP D:

Downstairs group- Dowsing by David-Questions by Tracy J.

Female, making people cold, buried here, died between age 50 and 70 years old.

Group D-Upstairs in Octagon Room 20.50pm, 3 to 4 lights crossed the top of the table. Witnessed by Verity, Lesley and John. Verity and Lesley experienced hot faces and cold legs at exactly the same time. Everyone had uneasy feeling towards the far corner of the room

female, buried here, died aged 66 years old, first name began with letter A.

Returned later after the toilets and regression room, went to the upstairs octagon room sat on the chairs and asked out, nothing seemed to happen up here, I heard a few small taps and had a sense of something behind me but the others all again felt nothing and we finished as everyone reconvened.

Chosen at end of the night

It was flat in here so we moved to the Regression room.

Tracy’s comments: what i found the most interesting is the lights seen going across the table by different groups in the upper base area.

Séance

GROUP A AND B

This is from memory so it will not be greatly detailed, coldness was felt, noises from seated area, lights/orbs seen by naked eye, Vicky became ill so i stopped the séance.

GROUP C AND D

Hotness, noises, hair being touched, lights/orbs seen by the naked eye, darkness changing, pressure on shoulders, looked like the doorway at the top of the seating area had changed to an arch. During this séance, Brian was sent to us, but it was not apparent that he was here.

REGRESSION ROOM

GROUP D

Went up to Regression room and tried asking out, noone felt much here, I felt something was stood near the door beside me but no noises etc and no other phenomena then moved to the upper base room.

Chosen at the end of the night, moved from the lower base room to regression room. We asked out in this room as the atmosphere was completely different and it felt like something could happen in here. When asking out, the emf meters did respond to the questions, there were 2 separate emf meters that responded and 1 that did not respond but most of the time on separate occasions, David also catches this on camcorder. David, Deborah, Dawn, Arnie and Tracy M witnessed this. The room had no base emf readings. Dave caught an EVP in this room.

Louise: Noted that as Mark went down to get Ali for her regression I again felt a pressure around my head and very hot despite sitting near the open window. I also felt something was in the room.

Louise Notes

Prior to start went into the main area at the top as we were trying to find Tracy M and immediately had huge pressure in my chest as if I couldn’t breathe. I started coughing violently and wheezing and stood between the seats at the top looking down to the stage where Tracy J was and said that I couldn't breathe. I felt as if something was squeezing the air out of my lungs. I sensed something in the top corner to my right as I looked at the stage. Louise noted that 5 mins after leaving the place all headache and sickness I felt was suddenly lifted.

Tracy’s comments: we have general research on this area but to research names etc, we need full names and dates, which in most cases we have not and therefore can not clarify any names gained on the night but researching name on this place is quite hard as alot of records were lost in a major flood which destroyed alot of historical records.

7.00pm

Group A: Main Hall/Stage/back area

Spirits for people at the hall came through but it is inappropiate to put this information in the report. Some asked Does any spirit wish to communicate? And Dave was touched on the hand and thanked them for doing this and asked for this again. Dowsing: Married, Had Children, passed in 1950-2000, then 1750-1800, then 1764. were to do with farming (comments of energy around Deborah), name of Richard, the name of Simon is connected, Surname. Unsure if Richard Simon or Simon Richard.

Group B: Activity Room/toilets

Several orbs caught, near 2nd door, at 7.40pm 2 childlike giggle/scream. 7.50pm, Christopher/Michael. Repeated bangs in response to request, aged 7 and 19, one motorbike accident, one leukaemia or similar disease (7 year old), died 26th April 1990 or 1991. Little boy lived close to here. 7.30pm cold hands, twice.

Group C: Meeting Room: planchette/glass moving

While doing the planchette, noises/banging were heard from under the table, quite distinct noises/bangs. We then changed to glass divination, got some more noises/bangs again. Tracy M got sudden headache on top of her head. Mark, Joanna and Tracy J felt like the glass was slightly twisting. At 7.20pm the glass slightly moved but apart from this it didnt really move. Tracy M could hear music. Mark felt a young boy was here, Tracy J felt cold around her and then the glass twisted. Tracy M sensed a child. TJ had image of a man, black hair and beard, taps on table, glass moved slightly. At 7.20pm, during the glass movement, TJ had a cold spot on knees, right elbow. Image of blonde haired boy.

7.45pm

Group A: Activity Room/toilets

Sorry no notes for this at present.

Group B: Meeting Room: planchette/glass moving

Glass: woman, around 52ish, associated with Brownies, Claire or Clara, Raymond or Reynold, some sort of member or founder, on a committee, passed with heart failure.

Group C: Main Hall/Stage/back area

Stage area, Joanna heard a sigh, Joanna and Lesley were left on the stage at 8.56pm. While standing by the kitchen area in the main hall, Tracy J, Tracy M and Mark all heard noises that sounded like it came from the meeting room at approx 8.00pm, it sounded like furniture being dragged or similiar (is this the noise from the meeting room i caught as it was at about 8.00pm?) (TM). The temperature on the stage was 19.7°C, the temperature in the cupboard was 18.4°C, 19.3°C at the top of the stairs (to the stage) but on the stage it was 19.8°C (middle, side wall) but on average it was 19.6°C but at the bottom of the stairs it was 18.9°C. There was a warm spot in the middle of the back area, (nr cupboard/stairs to stage) of 1°C, tried from different angles to account for doorways/drafts etc, but it didnt make any difference as the warm spot stayed there. Joanna and Lesley took temperatures in this area and on the stage and the temperature readings were different to what TM got, by the cupboard Joanna got 14°C and Lesley got 20°C. Mark saw a light move across the stage, asked TM, wasn’t her torch at the back of the stage. Dowsing, TM holding rods, Mark asking questions: female, child, adult (dont make sense), lived and died here, 7 years old when died (both TM and Mark sensed this at the same time). When TJ stood on the stage, she had to stand in the corner, near the curtains (closest to stairs), felt someone was hiding in the corner, watching us. TJ, got 5 year old boy, died 18, also other child slightly older, adult spirits in building as well, 8pm loud dragging /scraping noise from the 2nd kitchen/meeting room direction. 8.20pm Doodlebug came into mind, explosion.

8.30pm

Group A: Meeting Room: planchette/glass moving

1: Woman, connections with bail, worked here, farm, 1874, illness, quickly, head problems, chest, not married, 18 years old, worked on farm, Anne, big family, De Claire (surname), 6 brother and sisters, wealthy family, knows Emily from the toilets, grey horse, riding alot. Man connections with land, lived and worked here. 2: Roger 1991, lived here, visited here, didnt know anyone who worked here, quick, passing here, kidney failure, left family, 28 passed, no children, not married. Family around here knew Susie’s husband, here often, and smoked, agitated, alcoholic. 3: Woman, lived here, worked here, 1961, aged 21, single, accident car, England, only person passed, one other person still alive, lady driving, Anne, Richard, Louise. 4: Man, lived in area, not worked here, not from around here originally, 78, died 1991

Group B: Main Hall/Stage/back area

Louise: Several orbs and footsteps, red orb near Tara, felt hot. Hall saw shadow nr the computer room and movement like a hand waving there. Saw some red flashes and someone else saw them, footstep noises on stage whilst in the hall area.

Group C: Activity Room/toilets

Joanna and Lesley went to the Ladies Toilets, done some dowsing and got the following info: 1754 (year), female, died there, only stay in toilets, other people with her, not sure about family, quite happy here, not angry, died of natural causes. They both got EMF readings in the lobby and then the emf meter went off, so no lights were showing at all, which is odd. Since this night i have tested the EMF meters and they are both working fine.

Tracy m, Tracy J and Mark, went into the activity room, all heard a noise, TJ said it was like a cupboard door, handle being pulled down (sink area), TM felt heady, the atmosphere had changed. TJ saw a shadow reflected in the door, 3rd glass section at top, so obscured notice board reflection. Mark went outside and walked around, this concluded it was from within the room. At 8.35pm Mark saw a black misty shape on TV, go to the back of TJ. Saw orb move across the TV screen, which would be across TM and Mark. Asked for spirit to do something, we heard a noise, but could not rule out the fridge. At 8.55pm, Mark and Joanna saw an orb on the TV. In the hallway leading to the toilets, temperature dropped by 3°C, in a very short space of time, started at 19.7°C and dropped to 16.9°C. We all went the toilet, Joanna stayed in the lobby bit of the toilet. Joanna felt someone touched here neck, like tickling, temperature of 17.4°C, the emf went off, so it didnt work again as soon as Lesley entered this area. I since have tested the emf meters and they work fine. At 9.05pm, TJ felt extremely cold, goosebumps, at 9.15pm, image in TJ’s mind of elderly lady, grey-white hair, tightly pulled back and into bun at back of her head, felt like school teacher, energy stern.

9.30pm – choose place/activity

Activity room:

Louise’s ears kept popping, heavy head, and temperature dropped from 22-18.1°C and several times. Hair tickled, saw several white-blue orbs.

Meeting room:

A group was in here, i have no notes for this, but the notes might have been included in group C’s (as above) but it has not been noted when the information came through.

10.20-11.07pm Séance – Meeting room

Louise heard footsteps and felt head and neck being tickled, with heavy head and heard music/singing. TM heard a noise, Louise heard footsteps and a bang, Tara heard footsteps, Louise and Dave heard a door being banged, Louise again heard footsteps, TM heard a noise, Louise heard footsteps again, and TM asked if séance group could hear footsteps they all said yes. TM heard a loud bang noise and all heard footsteps. TJ heard footsteps outside in the hallway; no one else was in the village hall. TM kept sensing Brian was there at the seance.

Two people on separate occasions heard music in the meeting room. There was two young lads who died at the same time from a motorbike accident, not this side of Bowthorpe thou, but i am unsure of where they lived in Bowthorpe or how old they were, but the age is approx right. The land where the village hall is, was farm land, but then most of Bowthorpe was, it was used for cattle grazing, Suffolk mare and foal breading and later on it was used as grassland, for grazing by sheep and breeding horses but unfortunately the council bought the land in 1973! The farm had 4 horses and the horseman lived up near me! I obviously dont want to say too much else, as we are going back there. I cannot yet find any info to back up the names that were gained on the night. It was discussed on the night that all groups had banging noises from under the table, but there is no notes to confirm this.
