Hello everyone,

We are doing a few public events which are mainly for Charity and the choosen charity will be stated for each event.

But on the odd occasion we will do public events to raise money for our group (this will be stated) to help us fund private homes/pubs that require our services and therefore this will help us to continue doing investigations free of charge. Also, some of the money will help towards buying equipment for the group, none of the money goes into anyone's pocket.

If you have any questions about any of the events please contact me on the email address provided on the front page of this website.

Our aim for the public events is to give the public something they want and we hope this is achieved.

After an event, the report of the night will be added to this website. Any historical information on this website are correct to the best of our knowledge.

Newcastle Keep has been investigated many times with different types of paranormal activity recorded. Come and join Npeg and Aspire for your own paranormal investigation at the Keep.

The Castle Keep and Blackgate pre-dated the construction of the Newcastle town wall.

Not a trace of the orginal tower or mound of the motte and bailey castle remains now. Henry II replaced it with a rectangular stone keep, which was built between 1172 and 1177 at a cost of £1,444. A stone bailey, in the form of a triangle, replaced the previous wooden one. The master mason or architect, Maurice, also built Dover Castle.

The "Black Gate" was added to Newcastle Castle between 1247 and 1250, forming an additional barbican in front of the earlier north gate of the castle. It consisted of two towers with a passage running between them. On either side of the passage was a vaulted guardroom. There was a drawbridge at the front (facing west) and another at the rear.

The investigation will take place in a medieval building (1157) in an area that was known as a slum are in the 18/19th Century and during W W II, most of the buildings in this area were flattened by German bombs but this building was one of a few that was not affected, this area and building has a huge history and maybe we can help uncover some hidden history.

Npeg and Talk of the Dead have investigated this location and have found it full of activity. A seat, one of the toilet areas is reported to be haunted and a glass has been thrown at a member of staff. This location is great for capturng EVP's and therefore we will be doing some EVP experiments with members of the public.

Please contact us for the location details.

Join us at this medieval building and find out if the seat or toilet area is really haunted.

Maximum of 24 places available for this most memorable evening.

Start time 8.00pm and expected time to finish is 2.30am.
