EXPERIENCE
We do not claim to be experts, as i personally think you cannot be an expert in the paranormal field, but we have gained valuable experience over the last seven years.
I have been involved with the paranormal since childhood as i grew in a haunted house and therefore i have always taken an interest in the paranormal.
We investigate by using scientific and spiritual methods and we also take into account environmental condtions. We do not have a group Medium.
All of the members have an interest in the paranormal and most of the members have experienced paranormal activity of some kind in their lives and this is how they become interested and joined the group.
LOCATIONS VISITED.
We are a small group and we have been visiting haunted places and are in our 7th year. We have a vast experience of different types of locations, some examples are private properties, public houses, Hotels, Holiday sites, Museums, Theatres, Hairdressers, Shops, Village Halls, Cinemas, Shopping Malls, outside venues, indoor venues, big venues such as Somerleyton Hall, Gressenhall farm and Museum, Tutbury Castle, Maes Artro, Galleries of Justice, National Railway Museum, Derby Gaol, Woodchester Mansion, Hellens Mansion, Secret Bunker in Essex, Harwich Redort Fort, Peterborough Museum, Landguard fort, Denny Abbey, Chillingham Castle, Epping and Rendlesham Forests, Castle Rising Castle and Dudley Station Hotel. We will consider investigating any type of haunted place.
HOW NPEG WAS FORMED
I (Tracy Monger) use to help on regular ghosthunts and Fran had to give these up due to ill health. I was asked to start a group that would go and visit haunted places by people who enjoyed the ghosthunts. I therefore listened to the people and Norwich paranormal experience group was formed in 2003.
Sadly Fran died on the 13th October 2006. Without knowing Fran and helping her on the Ghosthunts i doubt Npeg would have been formed, thank you Fran for inspiring me and for all your help and support and for sharing your knowledge with me, you will be missed, but i doubt it will be the last i see or hear from you, i look forward to your visit from the otherside.
This group was not formed because of programmes like most haunted. Only about half of the members actually watch this programme.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF MEMBERS
I have a Bachelor of Science (Honour) Psychology degree and i have previously done an access course, which contained psychology, sociology, business studies and IT. I have completed a local history research course at degree level and i have gained a certificate on completion of the British investigators training course in Anomalous Phenomena (BITC) and Parapsychology unit B1 (see MAPIT web link for info on course taken) I will provide certificates if asked for any of the above qualifications.
We current have members that have ‘A’ level psychology and business studies, diploma in Information Technology, a Degree in childhood studies, , City and Guilds in engineering, Certificate in child care and education, 1 member that is a first Aider and a qualified hairdresser.
Courses being studied by 2 member at the moment are the British investigators training course in Anomalous Phenomena (BITC) and Parapsychology unit B1. One member has passed the course and two members are planning on doing the advanced course in 2008.
This shows that we have a good mixture of people in the group and it shows as a group we do look for the logical and rational explanations as well as the paranormal explanation.

Authentic Npeg investigations.
Some people might claim to be from Npeg when in fact they are not, please follow the instructions below to make sure the person is from Npeg.
All Npeg members carry an ID/membership card; this has information, which can authenticate the person carrying the card.
If someone claims to be an Npeg member and cannot produce a membership card, THIS PERSON IS NOT A MEMBER OF Npeg.
Any enquiry of an investigation is done through and authorized by myself (Tracy). If you are unsure of anyone claiming to be from Npeg please use the authentication details on the membership card to check. This is to protect any place we visit and Npeg.
For private investigations, all members will produce their cards to the tenant/owner; all private investigations are given a reference number and should be quoted when contact is made from Npeg or the owner/tenant of a private property.
